So I’m looking for a toy car from a book* that we read to our daughter (and son, but he’s just 7 months old). It’s very specific, is the problem: 1940 BMW 328. Seems to be the Mille Miglia car, I think. Any ideas? Maybe anyone on live and let diecast?
*The book is Racecar alphabet, and it’s phenomenal. Each page is an alliterative sentence for that letter of the alphabet, along with a drawing of a racecar at either le mans or Monaco. The A page has one of the earliest racecars, and they get more modern as you progress through the alphabet. And great cars: Mercedes, auto union, Bugatti, Tyrell, etc. Highly recommended. The BMW mentioned above is her favorite, she points it out every time.

The BMW 328 was one of the most popular pre-war BMWs, I’m sure you can find a diecast of it. Google seems to produce some decent results

I edited to add a picture, but it’s not the convertible with the tire on the back, it’s the roadster, and that’s the one I can’t seem to find.

Yeah, that’s it, but expensive. At least I got a brand to work with now.

I couldn’t find another one. If you find a space grey M3 sedan model let me know, I want one. The only one I could fine was 1:1 scale and while it fits in my garage, it doesn’t fit on my desk.
